Dust of Snow

tumblr_lf0xf4gILI1qbo6vuo1_500Dust of Snow

by Robert Frost (1923)

The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

It would be an unhappy crow if he shook snow on me! HAHAHAHA

Love that poem and love Frost. Each autumn, I post "Nothing gold can stay" - another favorite Frost poem.

BosGuy, I too love Frost. And when I was still posting poems on my other blog, I also posted "Nothing gold can stay." I was and still am contemplating posting "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" but I know that you have already posted that one. It is such a beautiful poem, I may not be able to resist, LOL.
